Overview:
Healthworx is one of the country’s foremost healthcare ecosystems, consisting of four branches, including a startup studio, accelerator, venture arm and funds. The origin of Healthworx lies with Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield, a major healthcare payer, but they were designed to be the organization’s innovation arm and operate with sense of coordinated autonomy.
When the Healthworx team came to us, they were at the crux of major change - the accelerator, formerly called 1501 Health, was already well-established but in need of a brand identity that allowed it to fall in line with the rest of the branches. In addition, all branches needed a fresh, unified visual identity and reenergized brand messaging to truly position them as the nation’s leading bridge between healthcare incumbents and innovators.
HeadStart’s Impact:
We took the existing Healthworx brand and reimagined what it could be - not just an experienced ecosystem with ties to a major payer, but a people-first organization that serves as the intermediary between those driving major change and traditional players whose support is necessary to make a real impact on the accessibility of quality healthcare. Alongside our design partner, we created a new visual identity and developed powerful brand messaging for the entire brand family.
Once the identity was finalized, we developed new websites for Healthworx parent, Healthworx Accelerator, and Healthworx Ventures. With the foundational brand pieces in place, we are now conducting earned media campaigns to support all branches, including a recent campaign that helped to increase applications for Healthworx Accelerator by approximately 50%, alongside creating content for and managing the organization’s LinkedIn.
